World CNG 3/4 Ton Truck


Overview

WorldCNG is pleased to offer the Chevrolet or Ford Truck converted to natural gas operation using an EPA certified natural gas conversion system, equipped with 24.5 GGE of CNG fuel. The base configuration uses a Type-4 composite cylinder, which has a weight of 136 lbs.

This configuration is expandable up to 27.8 GGE utilizing a second 3.3 GGE Type-3 tank mounted as shown. The total weight of the 27.8 GGE configuration is 173 pounds. Both the 24.5 and 27.8 GGE configurations weigh less than a full OEM gasoline tank, which weighs over 300 pounds.

No Change in Gas Mileage

World CNG natural gas trucks achieve the same miles per gallon rating as the OEM gasoline vehicle. Using the OEM rating of 15 miles per gallon the range of the base configuration of this truck is estimated at 300 miles while the optional expanded capacity configuration’s range is estimated at 400 miles.
